I appreciate the followers of my TK blog. It is a fun way to share what is going on here at TK. I know sometimes I get behind the times, distracted and busy with other projects, but I promise you I will update the blog as time permits! Please leave comments or suggestions if you like the TK blog!

They have been learning, colors, salutations and some simple conversational Spanish, and now they are learning about different foods!

Wear and Share!
One feature we have added this summer is the almost daily
“What you can WEAR and what you can SHARE.”
These are just fun ideas of things our kids can wear or bring from home that will help reinforce our featured letter. You will want to check with the TK Doubleday Alphabet Summer calendar in advance, so you and your child can work together to pick out items they can WEAR and SHARE on the corresponding days.
“TK Doubleday Alphabet Summer”.
It was such a success last summer we have decided to have an encore performance!
Each letter of the alphabet is featured for two consecutive days, and during those two days we celebrate that letter in every different way we can dream up! Check with the calendar to see some of the ideas we have come up with!
Bindi and I will be taking walks in the morning, now, for health reasons. We will be gone for about 45 minutes to an hour between 6:30 and 7:30am each morning. Ashleigh will be here to receive children, and I will be home before school starts. This new routine shouldn’t affect the functionality of TK in any way, except I won’t be here to personally say “Goodmorning” if you bring your child before 7:30 in the morning. Thanks, Terri
The

of the TK Mosaic was a pleasant and rewarding event. Bob and I have been working since 2006 on this project, and finally completed it in June of 2010. It is dedicated to the children of TK, past, present and future.
